UPCOMING SERMON SERIES

This spring Pastor will give a series of sermons entitled “Faith and Finances”.  This series is the result of a suggestion from one of our members.  So do you have any suggestions for Pastor Mark?  Are there any subjects you would like to see turned into a Sermon Series?  Do you have any questions or concerns that you would like to see PM develop into a Sermon Series for this fall?  If you do then tell Pastor or call the church office.
BLUM SCHOLARSHIPS
This year the application period will begin March 1, 2009 and the final date for application is April 30, 2009.  As in past years, the following individuals are eligible for consideration:  recent high school graduates, students currently attending college, and people who may be enrolled in career-enhancing studies or vocational enrichment programs.

Applications and instructions for scholarships and grants are available through the church office or in the Gathering Area.  Again, all completed paperwork must be submitted to the church office no later than April 30, 2009.

Help the youth and the environment at the same time!
Please put empty returnable bottles and cans in the trash cans by the coat racks.  All the proceeds go to the high school youth group - and you’re saving the environment too!

The youth room is being transformed!  Check it out and see what our high school students are doing.  Look for it to be done by the end of March.  We’re still looking for a few things to make the room a fun place to hang out!  If you’re cleaning out your attic or the basement and have any gently used items, such as beanbags, oversized pillows, games, a pool table, etc., please call or email Ashlee Aude.
