Softball Update After Game # 2

We won the second game against Church of the Nazarene (from Armada) by a score of 10-9. We did not have to bat the bottom of the 7th inning. It was an exciting game. We were winning 10-7 at the top of the 7th. We got 2 quick outs, then 2 more runs scored with the top of the order up at bat for their team. The tieing run was on second base. The batter popped up to Earl at first base for the last out. We WON.

We had 3 new girls and 4 new guys play this time. It was an exciting game we had 17 players show up. It won't always be like this so keep coming to as many games as you can. Neil cannot make it next week.

SAINTS Next Thursday game June 4 is in Armada - if you want to carpool - be at the church at 6 PM. We should leave shortly thereafter.

The field is on NORTH AVENUE - about 1 mile north of Armada. Game time is 7 pm. The better your on-base percentage is - the higher in the line-up you bat. We have 7 batters with a 1.000 average after 2 games.
