OPENING SONG The Battle Belongs to the Lord Words and music by Jamie Owens-Collins
Verse 1 In heavenly armor we’ll enter the land.
The battle belongs to the Lord.
No weapon that’s fashioned against us will stand.
The battle belongs to the Lord.
Chorus And we sing glory, honor, power and strength to the Lord.
We sing glory, honor, power and strength to the Lord.
Verse 2 When the power of darkness comes in like a flood,
The battle belongs to the Lord.
He’s raised up a standard, the power of His blood;
The battle belongs to the Lord.

Verse 3 When your enemy presses in hard, do not fear;
The battle belongs to the Lord.
Take courage my friend, your redemption is near;
The battle belongs to the Lord.

I Believe in Jesus Marc Nelson
I believe in Jesus; I believe He is the Son of God.
I believe He died and rose again.
I believe He paid for us all.
And I believe He’s here now, standing in our midst.
Here with the power to heal now, and the grace to forgive.
I believe in You, Lord; I believe You are the Son of God.
I believe You died and rose again;
I believe you paid for us all.
2x And I believe You’re here now, standing in our midst.
Here with the power to heal now, and the grace to forgive.
THE WORD OF GOD: Luke 13:31-35
31At that time some Pharisees came to Jesus and said to him, "Leave this place and go somewhere else. Herod wants to kill you." 32He replied, "Go tell that fox, 'I will drive out demons and heal people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal.' 33In any case, I must keep going today and tomorrow and the next day--for surely no prophet can die outside Jerusalem! 34"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! 35Look, your house is left to you desolate. I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, 'Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.'"

PRAYER RESPONSE
God Will Make A Way
God will make a way, where there seems to be no way.
He works in ways we cannot see, He will make a way for me.
He will be my guide, hold me closely to His side.
With love and strength, for each new day, He will make a way. He will make a way.

Pastor: We admit that we are weak. When we let negative thoughts overtake us,
All: be our strength, Lord.
Pastor: When we let criticism and doubt burden our hearts,
All: be our strength, Lord.
Pastor: When we lose hope and feel overwhelmed,
All: be our strength, Lord.
Silent Reflection
ASSURANCE OF PARDON
Pastor: God will not delay giving help to all those who call upon Him. God is our strength. We take comfort in God’s power and find hope in the salvation that He brings through His Son, Jesus Christ. Believe the good news: our sins are forgiven.
THE LORD’S TABLE Pastor Mark
THE LORD’S PRAYER
P: Lord, remember us in your kingdom and teach us to pray:
All: Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come,
thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us
our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory,
forever and ever. Amen
SONGS DURING COMMUNION:
You Are My All In All
You are my strength when I am weak, you are the treasure that I seek, You are my all in all.
Seeking you as a precious jewel, Lord, to give up I’d be a fool. You are my all in all.
Chorus Jesus, Lamb of God, worthy is Your name. Jesus, Lamb of God, worthy is Your name.
Taking my sin, my cross, my shame, Rising again I bless Your name. You are my all in all.
When I fall down you pick me up. When I am dry You fill my cup. You are my all in all.
Chorus

Amazing Grace with My Chains Are Gone
Amazing grace! How sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me!
I once was lost but now I’m found, was blind but now I see.
My chains are gone, I’ve been set free. My God, my Savior has ransomed me.
And like a flood, His mercy reigns, unending love, amazing grace.
My chains are gone, I’ve been set free. My God, my Savior has ransomed me.
And like a flood, His mercy reigns, unending love, amazing grace.
The earth shall soon dissolve like snow, the sun forbear to shine.
But God who called me here below will be forever mine.
Will be forever mine. You are forever mine.
Alleluia
Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
Blessed Savior…
How I Love Him…
Thank you Jesus…
What a friend we, have in Jesus, All our sins and griefs to bear;
What a privilege to carry, Everything to God in prayer.
Alleluia…
THE BENEDICTION:
P: May you feel uplifted by God’s Word, supported in times of weakness by God’s great strength, and empowered to follow Jesus all the days of your life. In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
All: Amen
CLOSING SONG: Shout To The Lord
Verse 1 My Jesus, my Savior, Lord there is none like You;
All of my days, I want to praise the wonders of Your mighty love.
My Comfort, my Shelter, Tower of refuge and strength;
Let every breath, all that I am, never cease to worship You.
Chorus Shout to the Lord, all the earth, let us sing,
Power and majesty praise to the King;
Mountains bow down and the seas will roar at the sound of Your
name.
I sing for joy at the work of your hands,
Forever I’ll love You, forever I’ll stand,
Nothing compares to the promise I have in You.
