More Disaster Relief for Haiti
You want to help those affected by the Haiti earthquake. Thrivent wants to join you. Thrivent Financial for Lutherans will add $1 to every $2, up to a total Thrivent Financial contribution of $1 million, when our members donate to one of the following:
 •Lutheran World Relief.
•ELCA Disaster Response.
•LCMS World Relief/Human Care.
•WELS Committee on Relief.
Thrivent Financial will add a maximum of $250 per member donation, and donations will be accepted through March 31, 2010. For questions or to make a donation over the phone or via U.S. Mail, please call 800-236-3736 from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. Central time, Monday – Friday. Annual Meeting
 On February 21st there will be one worship service at 10:00am (Sunday School at 9:45pm) with the Annual Meeting held directly afterwards. Please be sure to attend!
Thursday Night Bible Study
 All adults are invited to join our Bible Study Group as we explore God’s Word. We will meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, 6:30-8:00 pm. Look for a study guide and reading assignments on the table in the Gathering Area. Following that study we will look at the Parables of Jesus. The more we know the more different we become!
Basketball is back!
 Open basketball has started again in the Fellowship Hall here at St. John. Come join the fun of basketball every Thursday night from 6:00-8:30pm. All ages and all skill levels are welcome, everyone is invited! For more information call Scott Hudson at 586-623-9070.

 Please bring a can a week for our annual food drive to benefit Samaritan House. Thanks for your help!
Tuesday Night Euchre
 The following Tuesday Night Euchre events sponsored by the St. John Men’s Club will take place on Feb 9, then Mar 9, April 13, May 11 (i.e. the 2nd Tuesday each month & off during summer months.) Registration is at 6:00pm and we start playing at 6:30pm. A $10 fee includes snacks. We have an average of 24 players per night and have space for 24 more. Come join the fun!
