Who We Are

A friendly, caring community of Christians; we experience
God's presence through worship and music, fellowship, education, and outreach.
St. John Lutheran Church of Romeo is a 140 year old congregation located in historic Romeo. Our services blend traditional and contemporary elements of worship with small town friendliness. Our Pastor likes to say that, "Our church is not a gymnasium for super-saints, but a hospital for the rest of us." Like Jesus, we welcome people from all walks of life. Although our congregation has many lifetime members, many of us are relatively new to the church and are quickly making friends.

Please click on the following link: We Are St. John Lutheran Church of Romeo to read a short "Narrative" describing St. John Lutheran Church.  We would love to have you stop by and worship with us ANYTIME.  Just come as you are - Our Lord LOVES all!!!

St. John Lutheran Church of Romeo  is a member of the Southeast Michigan Synod  of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA).  Please visit either of these web sites or our What We Believe page for information about our beliefs and worship practices.
